“Aeropuertos Regionales del Sur” Concession

In April 2009, Proinversion announced a public tender for the 25-year concession of six airports located in Peru’s southern region (Andahuaylas, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Juliaca, Puerto Maldonado, and Tacna).

The concession included (i) investment requirements of USD 56 MM during the first three years and USD 200 MM during the remaining concession period (subject to the government’s approval) and (ii) design, construction, financing, improvements, maintenance, and operation of the airports.

The concession was granted to Aeropuertos Andinos del Peru, a consortium formed by Andino Investment Holding (Perú) and Corporación América (Argentina).

EFIC Partners served as advisor to Aeropuertos Andinos del Perú, the concession winner, in all the stages of the process that ended in September 2010.
