Advisory to Aceros Chilca (Mepsa) in its financial debt reprofiling for a total amount of USD 42.4 MM through the issuance of a syndicated loan of USD 30.8 MM
In July 2022, Aceros Chilca (Mepsa), a metalmechanic company involved in the manufacturing of grinding balls and wearing parts for the mining industry, with sales of USD 90 MM; achieved the reprofiling of its USD 42.4 MM financial debt. The restructured liability has a staggered amortization structure and a balloon payment at the end of the term, which will allow the Company to meet its financial obligations and continue with its growth plan through its two manufacturing facilities located in Lima and Chilca.
In order to complete the reprofiling, the Company received a syndicated loan of USD 30.8 MM from Banco Santander, BD Capital, BanBif and BBVA. Likewise, Aceros Chilca was able to reprofile a leasing with Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) for USD 11.6 MM with the same conditions and amortization structure as the syndicated loan; thus managing to successfully reprofile all of its financial debt.
EFIC Partners acted as the exclusive financial advisors of Aceros Chilca in the debt restructuring and reprofiling process.
