Eximar acquires the operation of the Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover brands in Uruguay.

Automotores Gildemeister agreed to the sale of its subsidiaries in Uruguay to Grupo Eximar. These subsidiaries are importers and distributors of the premium brands Volvo, Juguar and Land Rover. Uruguay is the 4th country in the world in which Volvo offers only electric cars or plug-in hybrids, as part of a global electrification plan. Jaguar and Land Rover, for their part, are classic premium brands with a locally defined audience for several years.

Grupo Eximar is made up of three Argentine groups with more than 70 years of experience, and they arrive in Uruguay with investment and growth plans to become a multi-Latin company with a focus on the premium segment.
